The first time, I submitted an online complaint to my bank, but the charge disappeared on its own after I did this. This last time, I called my bank's customer service, who conference called to the number she had for the company. It turns out that this is a pre-authorization to renew a subscription to a magazine that I had signed up for a "free trial" some months ago.
