I always use Norton Virus protection...Each time I renew Norton, there is a charge a little later from symantec, I did not apply for, I did not catch this until this month on my discover card, then I checked back on my past statements, and twice it has happened, first time was, 10-24-07, charges were $48.98...Then I ordered Norton this year, 10-10-08, and again symantec charged me $53.96 on 9-28-08, I want these charges removed from my card, NOW, or I will take action with this co...

The short version:
Tripadvisor has a review system which allows anyone to post anything about any hotel, regardless of whether they have even stayed there. This allows all sorts of people to abuse the system.
An example: a hotel was blackmailed and told that if they didn't give a former guest some money, the guest would write a false malicious review to harm the business. The "Commission on Accreditation for Rehab Facilities" means nothing as to the quality of any rehab provider. The best thing to do is to check with other clients/patients. You are better off going to a hospital based rehab provider, to make sure there is a legitimate physician on staff, and there need to be multiple levels of accountability. Beware of private rehab providers as they are out for the big bucks, not your rehabilitation. I received a call from a Mary Stevens from the 'AT&T notification department' to tell me that AT&T was changing it's long distance billing carrier from World Com to NSBI. My bills would not look any different but in order to continue receiving one bill AND have a reduced monthly long distance fee, I needed to verify thru a 3rd party administrator that I wanted to do so.

I've utilized this company for well over five years now. Never had a problem with them. Long story short: Order paid in full was well over three weeks late. Had to cancel the order. Never got my money back despite multiple attempts. If a refund is the problem, don't fear, your wasting your time, you will not get a response/ or your funds returned to you.
The company is under new 'so called' management... What a shame for us reptile lovers.

I applied for a loan in the amount of $6, 000 on the internet with New General Financial on August 18, 2008. The whole set up seemed legitimate. I also went to the FBI website to search for internet loan scams to see if this company would pop up but it didn't.

We had our move this Saturday and I could not believe what happened. First of all Daniel (the lead) comes in with all this paperwork and shows me all these additional packing charges. While yes I do see there may be additional packing material charges I had no idea until my stuff was held hostage that tape and shrink wrap would cost over 1000.00 and be nearly half the bill. He's a good talker!!! He's all about getting the business but not about returning calls once he's come to give you an estimate and take half of the money for supplies. Oh, I forgot to mention that he doesn't actually get the supplies with the money you give him. Stay as far away from Omni as you can, after four long years and $20, 000.00 I was no better after letting Omni handle the IRS as i was when they started. My original Tax lien was only $27, 000. and after fours years, i paid as much to Omni as i am now paying the IRS. After this experience, I have learned the IRS is not as hard and scary to deal with as most people think.

We received an email saying yes they 13 cabins all together all available and they attached photos as well a article in Texas Monthly about how beautifully decorated their cabins were etc.

Bought a Maytag Quiet Series 300 at Home Depot. Worked okay but a year and a half it died. The problem is in the power switches. I am an engineer by proffession. I should have done some research before I bought it - but hey, our last dishwasher lasted 15 years and it still worked when I replaced it. Matag ought to be penalized for making crap. Not acceptable!
