Elders beware ... I am a 96 year old widow who has accounts with Citizens Bank, who is refusing to close my accounts. My husband and I purchased a one month policy for our infant daughter to cover a lapse between coverage as my husband switched from one job to another. We recently used this company to board our two dogs. When we arrived back from vacation we found out that they lost one of our dogs. While cleaning cages, we assume a door was left open and our chihuahua ran out and was gone. I'm sure she is dead by now. The other night, I had my friend prepare a cup of noodles for me. The first thing I noticed, is there were no vegetables in it. I asked him, and he told me there were never any in there to begin with. Next, as I stirred the noodles, I found what ended up being a very disturbing discovery. Bank of America is my mortgage company and they were repeatedly late on my property taxes. The fees are up to almost $250. I was very excited that I was able to get such a nice hotel at such a reasonable price and my wife and I were excited for a weekend away from home.
