Delia's catalogue advertises "All jeans + pants buy one get one half off" but when I bought two pair of pants, I didn't get this deal. When I complained they said one of the pairs of pants was excluded from the offer...but there is nothing that indicates tha anywhere on the catalogue. I bought 2 pair of Liz&Me Signature Jeans - one black and one green. I have washed the black ones at least four times but am unable to stand the dye fumes so I cannot wear them. The green ones do not have the same oder - however - both of my legs have broken out in a painful rash even after washing them several times. I, too, fell for the "free trial" of these two products, acai-aSlim and Total Cleanse. I discovered my debit card had been debited for $84.95 by acai-aSlim. I was able to reach a customer service rep after being on hold for about 25 minutes. I was able to cancel any future orders, and she told me that it was very clear in the "purchase agreement" that is in tiny writing that half of the bottle was for free, but the other half wasn't. I have just looked at my checking account statement. I have found 2 charges on my account for identity fraud protection. One charge in the amount of $9.95 One chage in the amount of $4.95 I have contacted my bank and they say the only way to take care of this situation is to turn off my debit card. DTV charged my checking account without my authorization. It was not a bill. We did not owe them anything, they just took it. This then resulted in almost $300 in overdraft fees. He has even contacted my supervisor telling him what he is calling about. This sellers web site listed the product ordered as new. When I went to register it with Garmin the serial number Garmin showed and the serial number on the unit did not match. I called Garmin and was told that this unit was not new it was rebuilt (refurbished). This sellers web site also did not state orders could be canceled. I have tried to call them, e-mail, and chat. The phone does voice prompt and goes into a busy signal. The e-mail claims an error, the chat never goes down with the time and numbers. This is a scam. There was no mention of being automatically enrolled in a auto-ship program although I should have known better than to expect otherwise. I too was hit with a check over the weekend for 29.95. I sold mary kay a few years back and the address on the electronic check that was processed matched that address when i first started with mary kay. I have contacted my bank of america account as well as the fbi in regards to this matter. I tried to contact mary Kay's legal department but I did not get a person just a recording asking me to place my complaint in writing and send it into them. I think that they need to investigate this asap as appears it is has been ongoing for sometime.
