I have been receiving calls from this company since Feb 2008. They state that I have an outstanding bill from Citibank for over 10 years ago and they are collecting from it. I have sent them $500.00 in a 9 month span, they claim that they will proceed with legal if I don not pay them. Sometimes it can be 1 or 2 months and I will not hear from them and suddenly they call. They sent me a letter and a check for $4, 589.45. The letter claimed I had won $100.000.oo, and that the check represented the taxes on that money. I went to Michael's to exchange a damaged photo frame. Upon walking to the aisle of where I found the frame, 3 18"x24" frames came crashing down on me! First of all, these huge frame are placed at the very top of the shelves. Do not get fooled by their $6.95 adverts in the grocery paper for carpet cleaning!! They do a very bad job!! They manipulate you into buying additional services with false promises. They hire students to do the jobs and not trained people. Products used are of poor quality and they do not respond to your complaints. Robert Allen's incredible spam marketing is timed to take advantage of people losing their jobs and stealing their money. I've spent a few hours tracking this campaign and they are all over the place with no contact points that actually generate a response. They can take your money online but try and reach them and it is impossible. I don't know enough yet to track back to the holding or parent company for this organization. I was sent bogus check and letter stating that I had won $39, 000. Finding out there are similar scams going around. I never called the number but I will notify the bank (Peoles Bank, Connecticut) that the cashiers check was supposedly from. This was called Consumer's Reward Program and the company was J C Financials. The names used were Sara Smith and Michael Edwards. Numer given 905-781-2863. Name on the check was Brian Robertson. Service was slow and grudging. Tthe 'single' burger was dry, with grease visibly congealed. Fries were inedible, the grease, no longer oil, was nasty. My husband had to wait 5 minutes while they figured out that he didn't have his sandwich. I was directed to the AcaiPure website from a blog (www.sarablogger.com). At the AcaiPure webiste a free trial offer of AcaiPure was advertised. You had to pay $4.95 for shipping. I signed up, the package arrived with no packing slip or instructions on returning or canceling your membership. I purchased a hot air balloon ride through 1800SkyRide on October 9, 2006 for my wife's birthday on October 17, 2006. We found out about a high-risk pregnancy on October 16 and were not allowed to use the serve per doctor's order. We called the business and requested a refund. My husband and I purchased a dining room table from Hanks a few weeks ago. We were told the table would have to be shipped in, and we could pick it up on Wednesday of the next week. Colonial Crossings of Williamsburg (VA) gave us a certificate as part of our purchase of a time share. We completed the certification in August 2008, for a flight from Dulles airport (DC) to Orange County airport(CA) in February 2009 and sent the required fee. Certs, in November 2008, sent us a request for additional monies due to a "history of cost of flights " between our requested destination and departure airports. On December 11, 2008 we received a written quote via e-mail from this company for $55 to drive from Union NJ to JFK airport for our flight on December 17. On December 15, we called and made a reservation and the $55 amount was confirmed. On December 16 in the morning, the day before our flight, On Time called and said the quote was a "mistake" and they would have to us charge $85. We were leaving early the next morning. Most of the claims I submit to Wage Works is denied for supporting documentation. These bills were for a Radiology Dept, Radiologist, ER room, ER Physician and an eye doctor. My insurance company sent me duplicate EOB's which I submitted to Wage Works. They state 1. that they did not receive all EOB's (eventhough I faxed together with my claim form) 2. This company claims to prepare MBA graduates for internships with private equity firms. Unfortunately, the coursework fall short of teaching anything useful. The information provided does not give any insight into the industry. The claim that the students will get an internship is also a joke as the only internship available is with Mathew Murray's private equity stock exchange web firm. This is a telemarketing SCAM. They offer a low price on an all expense paid cruise and then the cruise never materializes and then you somehow have mysteriously have let too much time pass that you had to take the cruise.
