I tried to terminate my Sprint contract, because Sprint could no longer connect to Cogent's network due to a peering dispute. I could not get to my work Website. Sprint did not send a warning that this was going to happen or even an apology. Because I had to get to my work Website, I had to find another carrier. Because Sprint made a unilateral decision to cut off communications with a large part of the Internet, it should have to pay for the pain that it caused its customers. My husband and I have been members of LABoxing for about a year and a half. Last December (2007) we arrived one day to find a sign on the door stating the gym would be closed for one month due to change in management. Headsd up, our numbers are being sold under the table to timeshares and telemarketers. I got numerous calls and the timeshares person says 'that place is useless b/c theyre the ones making money by selling your numbers." Shocked, I got a hold of someone about the do not call list. I was told 'it doesnt guarantee your number is save from timeshares telemarketers etc. and if anyone could we could and sell your numbers.' Basically its just false protection. We've been without a fridge for more than a week. My 5 years old Samsung fridge just bite the dust and I was in the process of replacing it with the same model from Best Buy, that was due to deliver tomorrow december 28, 2008. I arrived in Connecticut as I always do for the Christmas Holidays and could not wait to head to the Mohegan Sun. We arrived on Christmas Eve.
