Ordered a Linksys router/switch. Received rapid email response that order placed and billed my creditcard. Next day I have fraud alert on my citibank creditcard and have to stop all future charges. I call them and give them the fraud alert information so they will check their billing systems. They charged my card and item was shipped to New Mexico instead of California. When I call about item in New Mexico instead of calling me back they send me an email instead of calling. Now I have to call them again to confirm a credit on my creditcard. I ordered a film from np247 in 2003, which I duly received before Christmas and was happy until I opened it. It was the wrong film! Contacted np247 and was told where to return it to. Took over a week and then shipped COUNTERFEIT products. Calling their support line is fun if you are a masochist. They have an answer for every question that basically amounts to: "Yeh, so what are you gonna do about it?" or "We will have to call you back" which of course NEVER happens. I was 100% dissatisfied with Executive Cameras. What attracted me to their website was their prices. I ordered a Hitachi video camcorder. When I ordered the camera it was listed as "in-stock." However after waiting two weeks when I was suppose to have it delivered in 10 days I was told it was never in stock. The company never notified me of this prior to me contacting them. Do not order from these guys! I took a chance with them since all I cared about is price not service, they fail on both! I placed my order Monday 16 Oct, assuming retail, since the website didn't say otherwise. They call and say I can upgrade from OEM to Retail and that they would expedite shipping and assure I have the latest version of the motherboard (meaning they would flash the bios, like I can't do that). I ordered a 52" LCD tv and received it broken. I refused the shipment and talked to the manager Henry. He attempted to get me to pay for new insurance on the replacement tv. What a scam. I refused and he finally shipped me a new tv. Guess what...smaller sized tv. I refused that and the fun begins. Worst company ever to deal with. UPDATE 06/02/06: Filed a dispute with Paypal to get my money back. Aheadgames has 10 days to respond to my dispute. UPDATE 06/12/06: Shockingly, Aheadgames never responded and the dispute was decided in my favor and refund is pending. Watford Electronics aka Savastore are awful. They sent me the wrong items, then it has taken 2 and a half hours and four phone calls to get a refund. I would sooner try and fashion an ADSL router out of some cardboard, bits of old radio and super glue, than order one from these guys in the future. Typical excuses such as "rapid business expansion" and "we are just so busy sir" were given when commenting on their poor service, for me this is just not acceptible. Our 5 year old Kenmore Elite Electric Range (model 790.9911) caught fire last night and we were very fortunate to have been in the room. I turned on one burner to heat water and turned the (convection) oven on to warm some food. Within 2 minutes, we heard an electrical crackling buzzing sound instead of the convection oven fan noise. I immediately tried to turn off the oven and black smoke began pouring out of the back of the oven and the stove would not turn off. When I called to verify shipping times etc. I was told that I could purchase the American model since this was "grey material" meaning that it's for asian countries and that the remote and literature would be in another language. Someone has used my bank visa debit card without my consent and my bank account has numerous transactions on it that I did not do. One charge of $2.95 was dated 12/24 and the other was for $29.95 on 12/26. I called 305.731.2303 and was given this website to report this. I had in total, over $300.00 debit tranactions on my statement this month and so my debit card has been stopped as of today, but the bank said that I had to try to get the refunds from all of these locations. I Purchased product from these guys through u-bid.com. They shipped me a bad hard drive. I was beyond u-bid guarantee of returning in seven days when I discovered the product was faulty. But there was a 90 day warranty from hi-tech cafe. I contacted hi-tech cafe. they were in the midst of moving and asked me to wait until they finished moving and they would take care of me. I purchased a scooter for my nephews birthday. When it arrived I wrapped and brought to the party. When my sister-inlaw opened to put together pieces were broken off. I emailed and did not receive a reply. Finally a week later I got a reply asking for pictures. I sent pictures and then another week goes by before i received a reply saying to return to them. I also got robbed by this company. Paid the 130-something for their promotional order as a gift for my boyfriend. he received the gift certificate in paper form, went online to use it and never received the clothes and stuff he bought! Not to mention no guitar which is the ONLY reason why we got the damn "gift certificater." They are THIEFS. It is UNFAIR for them to do this to us. These people have horrible customer service, Its been almost a week and I have received no information on the status of my order, 2 Days ago I tried their automated status lookup and have not received any emails, then when I called and the lady who answered was very rude and would not help me at all. This is not a way to do business, They may have good pricing, but they have terrible customer service. Do Not order from this store! When I placed my order shipping charges were never shown until after paypal was billed. I was charged more for shipping than the item. I immediately canceled the order through e-mail since their phone has been disconnected. They do not respond to emails and have terrible customer service. Save yourself the trouble, order elsewhere. I attempted to order a Sony 21" monitor from them but after taking my order they never shipped the product. I tried contacting them through email and phone but no results. Their corporate number goes to a pager! The one time they picked up another line I called after they let it ring for several minutes they hung up on me after I explained my problem. I finally submitted a complaint to the BBB who wrote them a letter and they finally cancelled my order. I found a digital camera online that was hard to find elsewhere. Placed an order, received a tracking # that never worked so i called the company and they said that it was back ordered and that they had no idea when it would be available, but that they hadn't charged my credit card yet. Sadly, I did not look for reviews before placing my order. This website is a scam. I waited three weeks for my order and after it didn't come i contacted them multiple times and got no response. I then had to go to my bank to cancel my credit/debit card and while doing so it was brought to my attention that they had charged me twice, the last one 2 weeks after placing the order. who knows if they would have kept charging me if i did not cancel my card. now i am left with no card for at least a month until the investigation is over with. a huge hassle to save a few bucks on discounted items. be careful and stay away from them!!! read full review »
