I have had an unbelievably frustrating experience with Fanworks; I sincerely question their status as a business, and not a scam organization. My story is that I ordered a fan on May, 19, 2008. I ordered a cd about how to apply for government grants and was told that I would be charged $2.95. They said that the cd was free and I just had to pay for shipping. I just got my cc statement and they charged me $39.95. This is credit card fraud and if $39.95 is not credited back to my card by the end of March, 2009. I decided to write my review here because even though its a complaint board I think that Rainbow Appliance does deserve credit for their service. I had an excellent experience with Rainbow Appliance. And going through some of the Reviews I noticed that there are maybe 4 or 5 complaints at most. I purchased 4 tires from NTB after being told I would receive $500 in gas with the purchase of 4 tires. After signing up for this promotion I discovered the "painful" process required to get the gas redemption. Basically I had to spend $100/month in gas and then submit my receipts.
