Receive many calls trying to update my LOCAL.com listing. When all was finished they put me through a few questions to answer. I think it was the last or next to last question the computer generated voice says, in 7days you will receive a mailing and if you dont cancel in those 7days you will be billed $49.00 on your phone bill. Obviously if you aren't paying attention you would miss this and if you don't pay attention to your mail (thinking it is a piece of junk mail) you would be billed.
Also during the whole convesation you are speaking to someone from another country making the conversation very difficult to understand. read full review »

BACK ON 12/09/2008 I WAS APPROACHED AT MY RESIDENCE BY TWO YOUNG ADULTS AND PURCHASED A SUBSCRIPTION TO TO MAGAZINE(4-WHEEL OFF ROAD AND ROLLING STONE), ACORDING TO THE RECEIPT THEY SHOULD BE DELIVERED IN 90 TO 120 DAYS, SO FAR NO MAGAZINES.
I RESEARCHED THIS COMPANY AND FOUND NOTHING BUT NEGATIVE REVIEWS OF THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES.
I AM PLANNING ON WAITING THE 90 DAY PERIOD, AND THEN PROCEEDIING WITH ACTION TO RETAIN MY 82 DOLLAR AMOUNT FOR THE TWO MAGAZINES.

The direcotr of nursing name Lynn was very rude to my mother- in-law. She was referred to Care One Livingston because of her doctor's recommendation. However, when she was admitted, they neglected to provide her food or medication. When we request my mother-in-law to be seen by a psychiatrist, the DON sent a very junor doctor to see her. I tried this product for the shipping cost. I was never contacted to ask if I wanted more. This company just shipped an order to me of 2-bottles without even sending notification that they were sending it. Charged my credit card $85.90. Then I sent it back un-opened, still have not received any credit for that shipment. Now over the weekend I received(email notification) that they were sending yet another shipment. I was solicited by a car dealer company to come and buy a new car with an incentive of $150 free gas gift card for appearing. I went and was given the rebate form on how to collect my free gift card. I did exactly what they wanted and never recieved any gift cards. This is false advertising and should not be allowed to happen. These companies should be fined. read full review »

I purchased a Swivel Chair which turned out to have a defective Base. I contacted Jennifer customer services on approximately February 11 or 12th, 2009 to have them send one of their technicians to repair it. One came approximately one week later and explained the base was stripped and could not be repaired and had to be replaced. I was looking back at my bank statement and noticed some charges on my account. I did not sign up for any thing and was quite confused and upset as to why this is here without my consent. It started in November and is still taking money out. I had termed my "subscription" about a week after signing up in Jan '08. At that time I was refused a refund, and the reason being that since it was a subscription, there could be no refund. Fine...not totally understandable, but that's their prerogative.

I've been working with Victorian Finance for three months trying to refinance a sub prime loan. The representative from day one said that He was the only one that could put the loan through. Prior we had be working with Residential Home Loan Centers of Pikesville, MD to get a quote.

I went in for an emergency appendectomy and the hospital cleared everything with UHC. 4 months later I get a bill for 6, 000.00 that they refuse to pay. They say that I did not give them notification I was going to have surgery. I didnt know either. Then the claim the hospital didnt notify them. I ordered free trials of acai burn and total clense. after i had canceled payments on those products information packets came in the mail for offers they had sent my information to. i still haven't opened them and i recieved charges from both companies. my bank's security services informed me these free trial things send your information out to their sponser companies who in turn send them off again in a dominoe effect. added to that one of the numbers i was meant to call and cancel with was useless

Wil-Build Construction LLC of Hillsboro, MO had failed to complete written special agreements listed within the real estate sales contract.
This company has also had there membership revoked with the St. Louis BBB for failure to resolve this issue.
If you are currently in or thinking of entering into contract with this company, make sure that all of the work agreed to and in writing is completed before releasing full payment.
If you or someone that you know has also been taken advantage of by this company, please advise them to contact the Missouri Attorney General Office and file a formal complaint.

I purchased a XBOX 360 PRo in March. In November I turned the unit on and hit had an E74 error. I contacted Microsoft and sent it in.
They sent it back and it still had issues...I sent it back to them and they sent it back saying it didn't have any problems.
I called in and they sent me a new power supply suggesting that this might fixed the problem...it didn't.

I contracted with American Moving on 12/18/08 with a $295 deposit to pick up my car on 12/30 from Morris Plains, NJ to Cedar Creek, TX. They did not show up or call. It is now 1/12/09 and the car is still sitting in NJ. When I do get someone on the line the excuse for not picking up is that they can't contact the driver or that all of the drivers have quit carrying cars due to the economy and non payment for deliveries with auto companies. This company has the worst customer service I have known ever.
USA International Data, installed an Eclipse machine to process credit and debit cards transactions, this machine have a plus: the system telecheck, to confirm and deposit checks directly from the machine.
In my case, the system telecheck didn't work.
Since November 2008 through this date January 12, 2009 I was calling for requesting the change of the machine.

I purchased Cricut cutting machine and used it with their Design Studio software. After downloading update onto my computer the cricut machine wouldn't work. I phoned and spoke to someone there (I phoned from Ireland) who after an hour told me it was my Cricut machine. So I purchased another one and exactly the same is happening. telling the caller to stop calling. A male voice with a heavy spanish accent replied, ok, gracias. I received another call today, 2/24/09. I did not answer. No voice mails are left.
If you call the number, an automated answering services repeats continually.
I submitted a complaint on both the government's do not call list website, as well as the Federal Trade Commission's website. Both submissions were confirmed by the respective sites. read full review »

I paid $600 for it, and it last 3 days. I should have known better. The wigs all look fake in this big showroom they had, but I was with a friend of mine, and she said I should try one. When I was visiting a friend who lived at the Pavilions Apartments off Hunter Ave my car was towed. We searched the parking for signs to find out who to call to get my car back, but all the towing signs had a phone # that had been disconnected. So I called the police and after 5 days of searching for it, I learned that Chad's Towing towed it. Hidden costs - everywhere - recently my daughter purchased "unlimited" use of a game for her cell phone - no one explained that the use of the game would also include "internet usage" which would use minutes - therefor causing us to go way way way over our plans minutes.

Their auctions are a complete farce! They blatantly lie. 90% of the auctioned properties are not sold. There is a secret 'reserve price', so the opening bid they advertise does not matter at all. The seller has the auctioneer bid on the sellers own property. The auctioneer is on it too. So if you are bidding, you are bidding against the seller. It's a no win situation. They advertise "every property must be sold". Complete lies.
Throw in the 5% fee and this is a complete ripoff.
