I have a Denon Home Theatre System that no longer will read a DVD or CD. I had purchased a warranty through Circuit City. Since the liquidation, the underwriters, "City Assure" have taken over honoring the warranty. I was charged for items I ordered in November 2008 and it's already March and still have not received the items. They promptly charged my credit card, but never sent me the items. I sent numerous emails and tried calling the number they provided but the phones calls only got me to answering service and the emails never returned. I was charged $69.95 to my checking acct on 2-28-09. I suggest anyone receiving fraudulant charges cancel your debit/VISA card to that acct as soon as possible! Possibly even close that acct. I spent one full year in the paralegal program at this college. I barely learned a thing! They expect you to read 10+ chapters a week, (sometimes that is one class!), and then you answer one question on the discussion board and do some cheesy assignment that usually consists of a couple of sentences in Word and sent as an attachment, then you get an A for that. Four months after installation of our fence by this company, the gate would not close because the fence was starting to lean. We tried multiple times to contact the owner to honor his 3 year warranty. He left us a message saying he'd come look at it, but never did. Now, six months later, his business phone number has been disconnected and lean is much worse. We will probably have to pay to get it fixed by another company. You can see the 'Godfather' to buy/earn honor points.
