This company unfairly denied me of unemployment benefits. I was notified at 5:30pm . Nov 13th, by the agent stating that the company they had sent me to work at (Elster Electricity, Raleigh, NC) no longer needed my services and that I should pack up, leave, and not return. I filed for unemployment and was denied on the basis that I had quit my job. I am filing for a hearing and requesting documentation regarding the reason for my work separation . I would advise everyone not to do business with this company because they are lying snakes. In addition, I would advise everyone to get written documentation regarding anything connected with their work. read full review »

I had 6 charges for $29.99 on an ADP Visa Debit card from this Portugal Company. I have no idea who they are. The charges all took place in January and after contacting my VISA company found out they were reversed. Now I am getting a collection letter from some Credit Collector in Sylvania Ohio stating I owe them $148.46. This company needs to be stopped. read full review »

I live 16 miles away from Martinez Dental and the receptionist tells me that the work that was going to be performed will no longer be available for me because as of that morning it was changed. But she couldn't take the time to call me and let me know before I showed up. It was a waste of time. And then the receptionist carries real bad attitude. Has no respect towards the patient and has the I dont give a damn attitude. Excuse the words but they made me very upset and mad. I purchased tickets for Maui in December 08 for April 09 only to find out today on line that part of my trip flight had been cancelled but I was never contacted by Ultimate Fares. I just happened to check out my flight to make sure everything was still the same when I found out my times had been changed and was told by Ultimate Fares customer service that my flight had been cancelled and that I would have to contact the airline. I filed my taxes with H & R block in January and paid the fees to get my refund put on an emerald green card and receive my refund within 8-15 days. I was told I would receive notification when my refund was credited to my card. On Feb 13th, I got that notification. Cashier was friendly, food was great, but...
for the second time in two visits and with only two people in front of me, I waited in line for 15 minutes because there was only ONE cashier. The manager was too busy to talk to me becuase she was "the only cook".
I really don't mind standing in line to place an order, but if the ONE cashier has difficult customers or a long line, she should ask for another cashier to avoid having the customers wait and wait just to place an order.

Salesman talked us into a soft, expensive mattress (a queen sized PostureTemp Elite) - memory foam type mattress. It quickly became uncomfortable. The Customer Service woman over the phone (Shaquir) was less than friendly. Had to fight to get an inspector to the house. I know the mattress did not pass the 'dip test', but never heard a peep from anyone again. We thought we had a respectful, professional relationship with them but as their debts to us began to add up, they stopped communicating. Soon after that she told me she had found the mother, who currently was married with 2 sons and was institutionalized several years ago. If I am billed for more than the agreed upon amount I can guarantee you that I will track you and contact the Attorney General of your state and those of the surrounding states and cost you ungodly sums of money. We provided voice over services to Chris and Dee Mahan of FilmDogz, including extensive telephone consultations. They were enthusiastic about using us and the future of their business, including making assurances that 'lots of business was coming if we just did this one job'. This occurred on multiple occasions and we had our suspicions that Chris Mahan was full of baloney.

This rental service is like RedBox but much worse. The Movie Cube Kiosk went out of order when I tried returning a DVD 2 days after I rented it. I spoke with the grocery store clerk and they said they would handle it and I should come back another day. Although I should be charged $3 for being late, the company tries to get away with charging me $38 and does not believe that they should have to reimburse me for something that is their fault. Found a $34.84 charge on my Discover card bill from this company. I had never heard of them. I also didn't receive any merchandise from them. I called the number they provided and was put on hold kind of 'forever.'
The charge is under investigation now.
How they got my credit card number I do not know since I had not used my card for months and I no longer carry it nor do I use it for internet purchases. Hopefully, these guys will get prosecuted and put out of business and I will get my money back.

A man ('John Clark') called me and mentioned my Panasonic copy machine and that they were sorry, they had forgotten to inform us of a price increase in toner. He graciously offered to let me have 2 at the old price ($349.00) and would I like them? I told him I could probably use one for now. (It did seem weird, because I had never gotten toner like this before.)
Then a woman ('Kathy') called and said she was faxing a confirmation for the purchase of the toner and all I had to do was sign on the X and fax it right back.

US Periodicals contacted my elderly Mother, and convinced her that they could get her a great deal on a magazine subscription. She agreed and gave them her credit card info, and was charged $119.60.
A few weeks later, she received a card in the mail that her subscription was about to expire. A call to the magazine showed that no renewal had been sent to them, and they did not deal with a company named US Periodicals.

I have had an annual termite service with Orkin for many years. On 6-14-08 my home was fumigated. On 2-3-09 the Orkin inspector informed me I have termites in a table in my dining room. The website says that Customer Service is available Mon-Fri 8AM-4PM Eastern Time, yet no one every answers the phone. Ever. I purchased a 1 yr old mini bantam bulldog from Amy Herman at Thunder Hollow Kennels in Tennessee over the internet.
