DYFS needs to be more diligent in screening applicants to be foster parents for their so-called mentoring program. A lot of the people they choose are in it solely for the money and don't give a damn about the kids they are supposed to be caring for. I see a lot of complaints, but I noticed I have been handling mine a bit differently, so I thought I would share. MGC is a loan servicing company, so they did not “buy” my mortgage; they are just taking over the administration of it from the unknown mortgage holder(s). We purchased 2 Access HD Converter Boxes. We hooked one up and it does not come on at all. The plug get so hot you cannot touch it and it smells like it will catch on fire because it is so hot. I asked Whirlpool for replacement part for my range/stove and was informed that it would cost me $484.00 plus $69 for special handling. This is blackmail and highway robbery combined. New York City Housing Authority has turned off gas to the "G" apartments in my building. It is close to two months that we are without gas and they have provided a two burner hot plates to us at the time that the gas was turned off.
