I only choose one star because no star was not an option. I specifically called before to make sure my outside funding with bank of america would be honored. After dealing with an incompetent, unknowledgeable sales person. I finally sat down for financing. They would only work with their own overpriced financing at 8% for a credit score of 772??? I received a summons from Malen & Associates PC regarding a debt owed to The Credit Store, Inc. The summons was taped to the door of my apartment when I returned home tonight from a weekend away. It states that I need to appear in city court within Twenty or Thirty days (depending on if the letter was delivered to me in person or otherwise). I was sold a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire for my daughter to start her schooling with. She was with me at the car dealers. When we should up to see the car, the salesman mentioned he had started the car and warmed it up for the test drive. The weather was pretty cold. I happened to check my account today and realized there was a charge for $14.95 to CIC CE. I have never heard of this so looked it up and found all of these complaints. I looked back through my records and they have been charging me $14.95 a month for the past 8 months for a service I DID NOT order. I am contacting the company tomorrow at 1 877 481 6826 to cancel and ask for a refund since I did NOT sign up for a monthly service. Ordered items that were in stock and future release in Nov. and Dec. of 08. Items were not sent at that time until orders could be filled in complete. Items cost were deducted from my credit card at that time to insure that I would be first to recieve my order if the orders ran short or had to be reordered. Told us that they had vacation spots for $199-299 all over the country. When we finally got in we couldn't find anything in almost every major city. I had my purse stolen in September 2007. I had to cancel EVERYTHING. My credit cards were used immediately. I am still dealing with that pain. I had to change banks and accounts. On Saturday February 28, 2009, I mistakenly made an online credit card payment (in full, $3, 200) from the wrong bank account. In this day of electronic (instantaneous) payments, I then made a second payment from the correct account, in order to be sure there would be no bank charges. Criminal! This is a company as shady as they come. They quoted a specific amount on the phone. The technician showed up, went to work and was through the lock in 15 seconds (was not a big job). I was told that the lock was a high security lock and they charged me double. As a firemen for the last 23 years, I know a little something about locks and getting through them...they flat out lied and took advantage about the situation. Criminal. Literally, criminal. Majicjack quit worging after 6 months and I called and a tech said the unit was defective. I was told they wewe shipping me a rteplacement and fdor me to return the bad one when I received the replacement. Then they went into my bank account and took $69095. Thanks a lot. We hired Clean Dry Usa to clean 3 rooms with the coupon we found in Clipper Magazine. They quoted us a bigger amount of 125.00 we decided to do it. Brought in a ford F-550 truck that had stop running on the interstate I-49. pulling a twenty foot equipment trailer with equipment. We had it towed in. When signing in the truck I explaned the problem to the manager of the service center . He said it sounded like the high pressure oil sencor was bad. I was charged $109 on my card 5/08 for gas. my car does not hold that much gas, even at the prices of that time. I tried to file a complaint & get the charge revervsed on my card. it did not work. I did buy about $40 in gas about that time, but not no $109. then it came out later how someone hard hacked into the murphy oil credit card system & diverted some over charges into a hackers account. but that wal mart visa would not do anything about it.
