Associated Credit Union has decided that they will no longer cut cashier's checks made out to ACU including my mortgage account number without a faxed request including detailed instructions. They also want me to include a copy of my Driver's License per request. They stated that without this faxed letter, they can only make cashier's checks out to me and they must maile them to me as well. This does not make since. I inquired about this man intalling a fence on my property. He gave me a buisness card and I contacted him for and estimate and discuss the type of fence I wanted to purchase from store. I purchased an unlocked TMobile Dash cell phone for my daughter. I spent $250.00 and within two days of use the cell phone quit working. My complaint is about the misrepresentation of a child's toy - Cool Tools Activity Set - sold by this company. The illustration on the outside of the package shows a white molded plastic liner in one half of the case which has a fitted space for each tool that comes with the set. There is no such liner in the case, which makes it too difficult for our child to put the tools away and close the case by himself and causes frustration. I ordered my daughter a gardenia plant for her birthday in February. It did arrive on the correct day, but the buds that were on the plant have just slowly turned black and fallen off. Now parts of the plant itself are dying. It never did bloom. I sent it so she would have a plant on her desk at work. Supposedly, if a customer, who has properly completed a form, is supposed to receive as much as $500 worth of free gas vouchers (in the form of a $25.00 gas card) for a period of 20 months. All the customer is supposed to do is to submit to the company a minimum of $100 in original gas receipts and within 4-6 weeks or so, will receive the gas card. However, it seems after getting the first gas card, no more are sent out to those customers, even though they keep sending e-mails stating they received that month's gas receipts and will process them shortly. Their website has you fill out a form with basic information then they immediately charge you their fee. Only after they charge do they provide information about the requirements to obtain or renew a passport. I purschase a Masonite Fiber Glass patio door from Home Depot. The door was delivered and installed by Home Depot. It's a lifetime warrantly on the door and now after three years the door is starting to warp or bow inward. I called Masonite and they claim I was suppose to paint the door this is within 45 days of installation. This information wasn't provided by Home Depot nor the installer. This is a very shady car dealership! I brought a car that was way overpriced from them. The brakes were bad, all four tires and the battery needed to be replaced, the CD player did not work, and the headlights went out within one week of purchase. These payday companies are out of control. This particular lender realized Virginia was on to them about payday loans and now they offer long term loans. But at what cost? I got a 1000 dollar loan and never realized the fee for being a day late. I was a day late and had my wife go in the day after the due date to pay the minimum payment. Had an agreement with Brian Kothman the owner of Propertique to rent a mobile home with option to buy. He took a $1050 grant ckeck from my employer that was supposed to be the "down payment" and 3 months rent with various other fees. Turns out he wasn't the owner and the real owner got no money at all. I came home to a warning notice about an eviction by the true owner. I purchased a 2008 Silverado Gas Engine Crew Cab November 15th 2008. This truck was a replacement of my 2007 Avalanche LT that was stolen. I used to be such a loyal GM fan.
