La Quinta - Pasadena. Hotel Guest Safety... There has been 21 vehicle break ins since April '08. All you have to do is give the police the address and it is in the open records. The management at the hotel knows and NOW the corp. office knows, but since it is a franchize hotel. NO ONE is worried about it. But April 13, 2009 we were 1 of 3 guest that had our vehicles broken into. The hotels comment was "we are not responsible for auto break ins, file your loss on your home owner insurance. I used my debit card to purchase a software CD for finding & obtaining government grants. I never received the CD and after 4 Emails some from Ms Fitzgerald I finally got support services. The gentlemant I spoke with was named David he told me it was to bad, I hadn't received the CD. I checked my credit with a "free" agency(what they said was free.) But what was mislead was that fact that they were going to charge me for the next montha nd months that followed. I ordered a net 10 refurbished phone for $20 online. When I received it I got the message unable to charge when plugging in the wall charger. I requested to return it and was instructed to take it to Fedex and I was responsible for the shipping. I was to only use UPS or Fedex and get them the tracking number. I received a bill for four times the norm from TXU and I immediately contacted them with my concerns. My son was 16 months old when he started here and one of the "favorites" was almost 4 but was apparently mentally handicapped. They continued to allow that child to stay in the 1-1.5 year old class. This child continuously bit my child over and over everyday...my son finally bit him back in the same manner (over and over) and was kicked out of the daycare. They have a computer call me at 4:51pm about a job and I got cut off without the machine recording my decision to take the job or not. I called right away and they were very rude, as if I was keeping them from leaving promptly at 5pm. I explained that the machine cut off before I could reply and that I was available. The girl on the other end ofthe line did not even take my name or anything. The next day they called and offered me another job, but by evening they told me that they gave my job to someone else. Beware of Electrostim Medical Services, also known as EMSI. They provide small electric shock devices if you have back pain - which doesn't even help I bet. We went to our doctor who apparently ordered one for us but didn't really explain to us what he was doing and that it would cost so much. Absolute and utter lack of care for children and staff! I Currently work at a Portland Kindercare facility, there is no attention payed to staff about concerns or complaints regarding best care practices of children. It is a "baby meat market", all they care about is the bottom line. Which is the max child capacity to teacher ratio. Children are moved from room to room all day long, whatever benefits the center.
