I was researching 'Acai Berry' and looked at a few websites. One of the websites was Global Nutrition Sciences. Lingo will not refund money that they continue to charge me even after cancelling. I finally had to cancel my bank card to get them to stop charging. When I call they say I never cancelled (3 times) and finally agree to refund. I never get the refund and get yet another bill for services never rendered. I never even got their equipment! Everytime I call them the call is somehow magically disconnected right before they finish the refund and so I have to call back and fight all over again. I think the FICA scoring system is a scam created for the credit card companies. Example; Me and my wife paid off and closed two credit card accounts, this was due to there high interest rate. We then opened a new account with lower rates and better benefits. By doing this it dropped our credit scores, so we get punished by your scoring system for doing the responsible thing with our money. I booked a one night stay through Marriott.com (not Expedia or Travelocity), and a week in advance of our arrival tried to cancel the reservation. I have learned that Marriott will not cancel online reservations any later than one day after the reservation is made. I spoke with reservation persons at both the Bethesda property and the national chain, and was told repeatedly that nothing could be done. This is the weirdest cancellation policy I've ever encountered in all my years of business travel (here and abroad). I just recieved a registered letter in the mail yesturday. DRI is telling me I owe over $900 for fees and either to pay or sign over my timeshare to them.
