Audio volume increases during commercials. You turn the volume to a comfortable setting while viewing the program. Whenever a commercial is broadcast, the volume is unbearable and you have to turn the volume down. I recently received a bill for $62.00 from the Illinois Tollway in northern Illinois. I got the bill in the mail in the beginning of March 2009 and the fines on the bill where from Thanksgiving of 2008 and Jan.10 of 09. The Thanksgiving day fines where for two separate issues totaling 40.00, the other incident on Jan.10th was for 22.00. I received an email about Firewall Protection. Stating that we needed to download a new firewall because there were hackers out there that were abel to hack into my computer. I wish I had found this complaint site first! I would NEVER have tried the "free" trial products. The link I clicked on said I would be charge $14 s&h for a free trial. They actually signed me up for a monthly membership for 69.99 per month. I called and was told I was informed about the membership and trial period. I WAS NOT. They CAN NOT and WILL NOT help you in anyway. I called several times from different phone and each time they say I am breaking up and they can not hear me and hang up. I bought a diamond ring 2 days before Christmas for about $2500. I going to put it on my credit card but was sold their 90 day same as cash credit card deal. Approval took about 5 minutes as my credit is excellent. I paid off $1000 in January. $1000 in Febuary. And the ballance in March. With that apyment schedule I received a late payment penalty of $39 on a minimum payment due of $37 and a negative credit report. On March 2rd, 2009 (my birthday!) my husband and I were leisurely walking on the Atlantic City boardwalk when we were approached by two men who claimed they were the "welcoming" committee for Atlantic City. I bought the house one year ago. It is set up for cable or satelight. At first cable was normal. Then they dropped two of the channels promisiing to give us replacements. As to date nothing. They tried the digital thing. So now the sound is messed up. I can only listen to mono not sterio. And at times mono isn't that great. In the mean time my promotional price ended so I went from 44 to 66 dollars a month. I have to admit the servcie techs ar every nice and prompt. I've become a fan of that Clark Howard money guy on CNN. I remember him talking about how some swindlers use these tactics to where once they gain access to your credit card info, they charge it once for around 1- or -2 dollars and wait for it to go through undisputed-hey who's gonna notice a dollar?. Called Dyson and they referred me to Nutley Vacuum (they own three stores - other two are J&S Vacuum Co. and Livingston Vacuum Co.). Vacuum would not stand upright. Unit was off the track. Dyson authorized them to complete the repair of my dyson DC25 ball vacuum Nutley Vacuum claimed that it was due to unit needing to be cleaned and serviced. These guys really got me good. They quoted me $276 to move a one bedroom apartment and when they got to my apartment they insisted that they had to wrap all furnishings including my matress and box spring in one or more of the following bubble wrap/padding/shrink wrap and use 14 rolls of tape to do it. If there were any loose items they had to put them in a box and then would charge an arm and a leg for it all. I spent $54 bucks on this stuff and it did absolutely NOTHING!. I just want to warn other people that a $10 dollar plumper gloss at the drug store may do more, at least it tingles. First of all, a 14 day trial should begin once one is able to use the product. How are we to know if we like it if not allowed the full 2 weeks reommended. Secondly, my account was charged before my trial was over, the same with the Rezveratrol product. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and am sending back all of the product as I did not even try the Lift SP. For a company who touts preservation and health, the way situations are being handled is grossly suspect. Online company, AllBrands.com, firmly refuses to honor the 3-year extended warranty on a $160 Rowenta Steam Generator Iron I purchased in 2007. AllBrands alleges that my warranty was not activated supposedly because I neglected to provide them with my appliance serial number at the time of purchase.
