This is probably going to be a very long report. In December of 2007 Windham Professionals contacted me considering student loans that had gone into default. We signed a contract with Model Talent Group last year for my daughter. Basically we paid for pictures from their photographer and then have been paying monthly to have her picture/comp card on their website. The only problem is no one can actually see her picture on the site. That should have been our first clue, as all other agencies actually post everyone's picture on their site. I got a breast augementation in June, 2008. Dr. Bernett, was my doctor for my consulation. We had agreed to get a breast augmentation and a bilateral crescent mastopexy. They called me at work repeatedly. Finally I made arrangement to have a settle paid in 3 payments. They insisted on an automatic debit from my checking. Then they said my account was closed and the deal was off. I am out $429 and have no idea what the status is of my account. They claim Dell Financial (another nightmare) took it back. I believe that is illegal. They gave me an incorrect Dell phone number-it was disconnected. i think this is a scam and I don't know what to do. Well, in short I'm not happy with a credit card company that asks for your social security number over the phone, and then informs you electronically that your number is invalid. You cannot get your account started, and when you think you can by (giving the number) the phone call goes nowhere. This company uses a sign up charge after you obtain a credit card from them. I did not sign up for on-line web service or services. They billed me $25. for not paying my invoice which they did not ever send me. I called and got that credited--than they set me up with a rewards program to another company. We have been members in USAA and insured with them for over 14 years. A tornado 'totaled' our 2003 33' 5th wheel RV on May 10, 2008. The RV was 'fully' insured with USAA and we carried a $500.00 comprehensive deductible. I received a verbal quote from David Stewart to patch a small area of the wood floor in my home. His quote was $45 per hr. and it would take about 3 to 4 hours. We set up a time. He told me that he would have another person with him so the job would go faster. I asked him point blank if the price was $45 an hr. per person. He said no that it was just $45 per hr. When we built our home back in 2005, our builder recommended a propane company named Blue Flame Gas. We had them install a propane tank and supply our propane from that point forward. I did find out until 4/1/09 that Blue Flame Gas was bought out by Paraco Gas in November, 2008. Up until this winter we had no problems with our propane delivery. Hughesnet has an implemented Fair Access Policy (FAP) that when triggered will slow your speeds that YOU PAY FOR down to close to around 56k uplink speed. That means on their Home plan, you're paying $60/month for a certain speed but you're getting less that what you paid for. The worst thing about it is that in their FAQ (frequently asked questions) board, they suggest "upgrading" your service, which is about $15-20 for the next level of service, for only a minor increase in the download bandwidth. The company Unsecuredline.com needs to be investigated. When they contact you a friendly person is right on it to get your $329.00 for what they call your credit application but what it really is is an underwriter getting your credit report and making up a 'report card', not even to ask any questions, just filling in the blanks with their best guesses, I think? On July 11, 2008 Browning Equipment Inc of Purcellville, VA performed a generator service call on our property dispatching one technician and one salesman for approximately 2 to 2 ½ hours. I have reported my horrible experience with TCIM, I did not state everything completely. What happened back in February is that I was given a call from a customer that want to sign up for directtv and she asked the question if there was gonna be a charge. I took the first 2 classes in their wedding planner certification course. After signing up for the third I found a link to buy their study guide book on lulu.com. After checking out the first few pages of the book on this site I realized that the classes are simply the $125 book divided into chapters and charged 50-150 bucks to take. Oncor will not tell you or they say they do not know how much they are going to charge you for anything. How can you agree to a charge if you don't know if it is going to be $10 or $500? They say there will be "calculated" charges. What does that mean?
