This company withdrew $17.93 from my account claiming to be the fee for loan researching. The site did not mention any fee for researching for a loan. Apparently this stems from the Last Chance site. I called 877-258-2584 on 4/6/2009 and spoke with "Michelle". She claimed to have cancelled my account but guess what? My account was again debited for $17.93 on 4/8/2009!!! I got into credit card debt and needed help. I was set up with a so-called counseler and after listening and thinking, I decided to go with Clear Debt Results. Bought a brand new PEDAL FREE WOODEN BIKE BALANCE BICYCLE from Ebigonline on Ebay but the merchandise arrived loosely wrapped in bubble wrap in 3 boxes, without an instruction manual or the source of manufacture. I received our AT & T bill with a 19.99 charge from member's edge. When I called the company they said I signed up for a voice mail service. When I said I didn't they tried to tell me my husband did it. But the info they gave was all wrong. It wasn't the birthday, email address, and mothers maiden name. The rep contacted me stating I had won a $1000 internet only shopping spree. Visa and Mastercard were sponsoring this promotion and I would also receive 5 magazines at the rate of $3 per week of which I would only pay for using my Visa or Mastercard along with shipping an handling for my packet. I'm not surprised to read the complaint already on your website. I had the same experience & waited 3 days for pick-up without even a curtesy call. On the 3rd day I was told they would move me for free if the driver wasn't there between 2pm & 3pm. He showed up at 8pm that night. He also jacked up the price quote by over $400. I too have been scammed by HLD GRANTHELP ORDER. American express has disputed my first complaint and I have been credited back the first 3.95 and 74.95. Now they have billed me again. I tried to call the number listed on my American express bill of 888-662-8762 and it rang about 10 times then disconnected. These people need to be shut down for this scam. Despite "No Solicitation" signs posted at the entrance of our neighborhood, we had a young lady knocking on the door telling a sob story about how she was in rehab and had lost her children, the company was helping her to return to school. After agreeing to buy two magazines (at $100) she asked us to say something positive about her to show to our other neighbors.
