I have filed a complaint with the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs. I was told by the DCA, that Xelent Staffing is not licensed and therefore, the department can't take any legal action against them, so to recover my money, I would have to take them to Court. Today, Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at 12:05 pm, I purchased a product called ReCharge Energy on a trial basis. I ordered from a web page, but information was only partly true. They didn't tell you that after 45 days from the date of order they automaticlly send you a 1 month supply for only $69.99 plus shipping charge of $6.98. I want my subscription canceled asap and don't even bother sending me the trial order. Oh yeah, when you cancel, they want you return the unused portion, and they get to keep the initial payment. This company runs our apartment complex and I simply can never get a hold of anyone that works there. Today out of nowhere they decided to cut off our dish off the roof and throw it of the side. Which means they damaged our property and then they took it which would be stealing. I still can't contact anyone about this concern because everyone is supposedly busy. Papago Gardens is poorly run and maintained in every way. We waited almost a month for them to fix our water heater and there is no reason for that. I have no good things to say about this place. This company charged my elderly mother $932.28 to install a 40 gallon water heater. The owner of this local franchise was rude and could not offer a reasonable explaination why my mother was not given the standard 1 year warranty on labor and agreed to sent it my mom immediately. Avoid Hotwire. Hotwire is very misleading on hotel reservations. Star ratings are based on customer reviews. I requested a 3 star hotel and was given a hotel that is lacking amenites and rated a 2 star on other sites. When I called to complain and was repeatedly told that all reservations are final . My daughter bought a Sidekick Slide in 01/08. Three months later the phone began shutting itself off and losing saved messages, but reloading old, deleted ones. I never heard from them and called the same phone to find that it was disconnected! A charge for $500 appeared a month later from a 3rd party billing service who said they just bill for companies and can't help me. My Mom had fallen and broke her glasses. My husband made an appointment for an eye test and new glasses for her. We arrived on time and we confronted with a rude receptionist.
