A check up service was rendered which I didn't agree to in Sept of 2008. They sent me a surprise bill ($67.96) shortly after that, which I responded with a letter stating the reason why I didn't owe the balance (also called & left a message regarding this). Used to do my own backups, got 40 years experience in s/w development, and it make my gut sick when I have to deal with people supposedly providing s/w for you needs. This includes NTI, and Intelenet. Have sent minimum of 7-8 tech support emails to these (companies?) with not one response. Also have asked and filled out a form for getting my money back. On April 30, 2009 the kitchen sink backed up. I called American Home Shield for service. They sent out Air Pro Master (Plumbing License #64853). The "technician" said there was no clean-out (there was) so he tried to snake the drain from underneath the sink, he broke the pipe then left after collecting $60.00 for a service fee. They claimed to have the part, they showed me a carfax for the engine that I was buying, we paid via paypal we got no confirmation or shipping information, nothing. This company claims to be a billing service for online merchants. They have made unauthorized charges to my checking account for more that two hundred dollars. When I called this company, they couldn't even tell me what the charges were for. They are clearly a fraudulent company that steals money from your account. We were charged $9.99 per month for the capability of obtaining a manual for telephone repairs. We did not authorize this. It is on our Verizon telephone bill. I believe Verizon is in on this scam. This got on our bill through Verizon, we did not sign up for it, did not get it through the internet, did not call them. Verizon put this on our bill. I am in the process of researching how this happened and will contact the attorney general's office in Oregon to report this illegal activity. It amounts to about $120 a year on our phone bill. this company offered me a chance to train, test, and get employed the federal government. they said training would take about 3-4 months, and it does not. i went through 9 months and never saw ythe end. when i asked them for a refund, they said not because it was my fault i did not complete the training in 3-4 months.
