Of all collection agencies, I'd advise anyone dealing with these people to not trust a single thing you are told. Yes, if a valid debt pay them when you can, but put no faith into any dealings with them. My own experience is a small debt of less than $400. My wife and I got married at this resort. We came back after recommending the resort to my wife's sister to have her wedding. The wedding was on the 11th of June and all was well until the following monday. There was no power on the resort from 9 am until 4 pm. I have had my account open with Bloom Cellular for a few months now and every month there seems to be a new charge that I have no idea what it is for. The first month I had trust Bloom would invoice me accurately and paid the bill. The second month I looked over the bill in detail and noticed I was charged roaming charges that I never made. If Bloom isn't pulling a scam they are certainly disorganized. Every month a correction is made to my account and I am credited the overcharge but it is annoying to have to correct the bill each month. My compaint is that I have been receving calls from someone saying that they are from the Census Buerau and they are requesting personal information from me. After two years of having SYNLawn install their synthetic grass ($3153 for 465 sq feet), we are yanking this stuff out. I had recently wire transferred money from the US to UK on June 16th from my bank (PNC Bank). According to PNC Bank, notified me that there wasn't any errors. Cuddeback offers a one year warranty on their cameras. I sent one back within that year with dated proof of purchase. They replied that the camera was past warranty and they would have to charge me $125 to fix it. Apparently their warranty period is adjustable when it suits their needs. We have a 2010 Ford Fusion purchased in 8/09 for our son, who is attending school 1700 miles from home. Be aware that this company does not honor the "Lifetime Automotive Window Film Warranty" on the Film Technologies International window film company which they purchased earlier this year. They explained to me the product had already been shipped but gave me the instructions on what to do to return the product when I recieved it. Approximately seven years ago I disputed charges associated with a test done at a local hospital. While the dispute was in process, the account was turned over to West Management Associates, who then sent it to all three credit reporting agencies. I paid the disputed amount to protect my credit, although I still didn't believe it was a legitimate charge, but West Management has continued to report the amount as unpaid, even as recently as 2008.
