I took my expedition in for some warranty work. My husband picked it up and came straight to my work to takeme to lunch. I noticed that there was a dent and paint scratch on passenger side fender by door. When you opened the door the metal scraped together. I called Sam Galloway ford service and explained what happened they said bring it in we will look at it but doubted it happenend there. Hello, Im not sure who I am writing to, but I know one thing GM doesnt give a hoot about any of it's customers. I have a 2003 Saturn Vue...and the transmission is bad...GM wants me to take it to a certified Saturn garage to have it diagnosed to see if it is the transmission the cost for me NOT FOR THEM is $900.00. Now if it is the transmission they are willing to pay have MAYBE half...MAYBE...Maybe is not good enough for me especially when you dont have the money. Do NOT rent a car from Thrify at the Frankfurt Airport. They send you a company called Terstappen, which will triple your rates. They will not accept VISA or Mastercard for CDW. They charge your credit card 600 Euros for a 'damage waiver' and do not refund it. We were quoted less than $200 on the Thrifty website for a two-week van rental. Total credit card charges came to over $1700. I am not kidding. We are fighting it, but every time we get the charges removed by Visa, Terstappen charges them all over again. They performed the classic bait and switch with the cost, quality and service. Originally was supose to cost $1495 for complete rebuild. Final cost $2500, plus another $400 in costs after the improper work was done. My engine had 255, 000 miles and ran perfect. I just wanted to rebuild it before it dies...nothing was wrong with the car it was perfect (2003 jeep grand cherokee). Problems: 1. Engine head/lifter metalic knocking noise. I signed up with Miway as they were cheaper and the service seemed better. Today I regret it. After being burgled in March, I was finally advised in April that my claim had been rejected. While waiting to have my claim finalised I had asked more than once, if there was a problem, only to be advised that there was not. The owner stated that the repairs would be done just as if the car went to Jaguar dealership. When leasing, I have always turned my vehicles in in perfect condition with never a charge for excess wear or damamge. 2008 Odyssey does not have the cut off to save the battery equiped in this van. The kids leave the dome lights on mostly and the van would not start the next morning. Honda Canada has no solution for this. As you would see other vehicle manufacturer cuts off the lights after 15 minutes of having the lights left ON. What a response that system responds to user need?. Or may be the understanding of the engineers that they cannot design the cutoff to save the battery enough to crank the engine as priority. Avoid renting a car from Thrifty-Terstappen at the Frankfurt Airport in Germany! They have a 'cushy' insurance scheme with VISA that cost me 17 Euros per day or a total of 459 Euros over and above the contract price settled through Expedia.ca last fall. Their agent at the airport refused to accept the Collision Loss Damage Waiver covered by my Citibank Platinum Master Card in spite of presenting a confirmation letter from Citibank. Get Auto Insurance, Duluth, GA / National Guaranty Insurance Company ripped me off for over $330.00. Go to a reputable company if you need insurance. I contacted the above company on January 6, 2011 for auto insurance and sent them an electronic transfer of $158.66 as the payment for the month. Then, on January 27, 2011 after telling them by telephone five days earlier that I had gotten insurance from another company and wanted the insurance cancelled immediately, they debited my bank account for $173.89. I have zc sterling. During hurricane Ike, they only gave us enough to patch things up. 2 years later I have a hole in my roof and an even bigger hole in the ceiling. I have filed a suit against them and now they are giving the attorneys the run around. There are 7 other families who have flled suit and they do not want to pay the settlement. I am very disgusted with Nissan. I leased a 2006 Pathfinder which lease is up soon. My engine light went on. Nissan said they did not warrany that. I hooked the computer to my truck and showed me the part it needed which cost only $45.00 tops. Nissan charged me almost $600.00 to fix this problem which they claim they dont warranty. They claim this part is needed and it would cost me this much. I will never lease from them again. They ripped me off. The reasons of the high payments were partially my fault for not READING everything because the dealer sneaked in some things I never agreed to but that's my fault. We purchased a 2005 Ford Freestar at Lasco Ford of Fenton, MI in August 2005. We purchased an exteded warranty through the dealership at the same time from Signet Financial Group. my daughter put in gas and when finished she found out the hard way that the handle of the pump was broken and kept pouring gas out and all over her hand and arm and onto her clothes, she reported the broken handle and the was told by the clerks that they knew about it. My concern is why nothing was done to prevent an incident to occur again. Does anyone know what Government agency I can contact to make a complaint against a dealer. I bought a car from this dealer, paid cash and was handed a title. I bought a 2008 Cadillac SRX at Balise Chevy in Warwick, RI and had nothing but issues with the car. The car has been taken to the Cadillac dealership for repairs 7 times since we've owned the car and we only have owned the car for 5 months. I went to use the pump with my credit card and the pump accepred my card information then it shut offf immediately and said thankyou and my bill was $27.00 eventhough I had not received and gasoline. I asked the attendent to check the pum to see what had happened and he refused. He also refused to tell me the name or telephone of anyone to contact.
