I have bought 2 GM vehicles before and was pretty pleased with the service. I went to Currie Motors in Forest Park, Illinois thinking I might be treated fairly as a 3rd time returning customer. I purchased an AC condenser for my car from Rock Auto in May 2009. In less than 24 months, the condenser had corroded out and all of the refrigerant was gone. I called Rock Auto customer service and was told that since the supplier had been "bought out", that the original warranty was no longer valid. How is this my problem? I am out not only $100 for a new condenser, but an additional $150 for a recharge at a shop. After spending a good $1000 or so there in the past couple of years, I am done. I was told by the dealers in Columbus and LaGrange, GA they had the vehical I was looking for. I am in Alabama 120 miles away. Both dealers are on the USAA Buyers Program. One would not meet the agreed price in the USAA Buyers program to pay $4k below invoic and would not produce a invoice like required. After a minor accident, Ramp Auto Body 'repaired' my car and had it towed to me because they couldn't figure out why it was no longer running. I called and stated to death ears that their system selected the Jeep part number for my GMC Sierra. We were told we had paid for the hire of a car, on line, in full from Travel Jigsaw (Carhire3000). When we arrived at Kerry Airport (Eire) we were asked to hand over a credit card for ‘security’ reasons only. We received two pieces of paper one white A4 and one yellow NCR A5 stapled strategically over the details on the former. I just bought a 2011 XL 1200 C and I thought I could change it to the way I like it just like the one online with the 16" ape hangers, but a parts person at spitizes in Colonie NY his name was Mark said, that I can't change out the 6" curved riser because it hides all sorts of wires in it.
