pathetic service and technical support
I've been trying to get someone to fix my NEW top tv for more than 3 weeks. They either through the phone down in your ears, promise to come but never does, charge you more to come out to fix THEIR problem than it cost to buy the whole package, even their so called customer care department doesn't help you. ect, ect. I had a technical fault after 22h00 on June the 17th on my decoder and was advised that i need t check the cable, which i did and nothing happened .I called TOP TV the next day and spent in the excess of R150-00 on calls the whole weekend and the Monday and was advised that i need to get an installer to fix the problem for me. Now who is to be blamed here as this is not human error from my side but surely from the supplier, should they not be liable for repairs to the decoder as i dont even have the unit for a year -please advise on this situation

BAD SERVICE
Top TV has a 72 hour call back guarantee when you SMS your details to them, when you contact them it says you have a 24hour guarantee call back. Which never happened.
I phone numerous times to TopTV to speak to the Supervisor, that was promising me that he will get someone to contact me back as soon as possible. Someone did phone me after 4days 20 minutes before closing time, when I ask the gentleman to please contact me on an alternative number (which I gave him) as my phone was nearly dying, he never phone back as he WENT HOME.
When I phone the call center it says they work from 7 to half past 4, but when I speak to the consultants they say it is an 24hour service. So please tell me who is LYING.
And then the other complaint is regarding the Customer skills the consultants have, because they have none at all. They are rude and think I'm there best friend and can talk to me like I'm a piece of Sh@t. I'm the customer, and I want some respect, that is not hard to ask at all, seeing that I'm paying for the service to be provide to me.

Mpho working at TOP TV needs to choose another job, obviousy she can not do her job except insulting her instalaers. We are acreddited by them and null benifits. You must battle to get paid for their special installations and all we get is customers all over us because Top Tv does not activate or provide them with service. You are insulting your installers and money is your only goal!

Dear SirMadam

I tired off calling Top Tv everytime I call I get a different story about why my Top Star isn’t working
1) Problem with top star and the problem is being resolved
2) Account is arrears please pay it and MAYBE it will work
3) Takes 2 days for payment to reflect
4) You haven’t paid your account that’s why you were disconnected

Im tired of getting the run around ive made a estimate total call of 6 hours which I have to fit the bill and still the matter hasn’t been resolved (should have stuck with DSTV better service and call centre is open 24/7). Ive spoken to so many people I cant remember names anymore. If Top Tv cant handle the demand they should get out of the game. Im fowrding this E-mail to the newspapers and will publicly announce what Top Tv does………..
