PLASTIC SURGERY

Well, I went to Dr. Milla´s office, and after making some calls to other people that have done procedures with him and corresponding via email with some referrals, I find your story very hard to believe. Not only are you not being truthful, you omitted some very interesting details. In your post, you fail to note that you had a previous surgery before going to Dr. Milla, and that Dr. Milla was not the surgeon that made that prior, and that he suggested to you, that you were not in the best shape to have the surgery done because of that prior surgery that was improperly done by another surgeon, that you also by the way, omit his name. You also did not mention that either to your Dr. in LA, (I know, I made the call) and that no record exists, and since you had a surgery outside the U.S. you knew that no medical record existed for that prior in the U.S, albeit a trained surgeon can tell. As for your so called friend, I also do not believe you, mainly because you lied about the before and after pictures, ALL PLASTIC SURGEONS take before and afters NO EXCEPTIONS, it is a rule. Now, you are calling him a "quack" and I personally find that very disrespectful, I have seen all his credentials and jobs and I can azure you, he is no quack, he may not be the best in the world, but he is a trained professional and very good at what he does. So after looking at the facts, and not just your BS, I came to the concussion that you are pissed about something you did to yourself and you need to blame it on someone. I find the fact that you do not provide any proof on your post and shady info on everything you say, that you are dishonest to this board.
Now I would like to take this opportunity, to tell every person that reads this post, that complaintsboard does not verify anything, so don't bet your house on everything you read here. Of course there are some legitimate complaints, but you need to do your own investigative work to verify what is posted here.
It is a shame how this kinds of people can mislead others like myself who are seeking honest complaints. I would recommend though, people contact referrals from fellow surgeons of your surgeons area, wherever it may be, more than anyone, they know if someone is really a "quack" as Cissy suggests. But after having a nose surgery done by Dr. Milla, I can asure you, he is really good at what he does, and I DO have the proof, that is why I post it for everyone to see, that is ME with my 2 year old son, my husband took it.

My friend is going through a very hard time like a lot of Americans in these hard times. She is loosing her home, job, and on top of that her cancer that was in remission has returned. As nice as she is at this time the last thing she wants to discuss is her tummy tuck that she was not satisfied with. That she met Dr. Milla or should I call him quack Milla is because I took her to him. If we had stayed in the U.S I am certain that she would have had a tummy tuck that she would have been satisfied with and I would still have my beautiful Mexican nose and I wouldn't know what it is like to go through the extreme pain I have been going through for the past year and a half because of the massive injury this quack did to my nose. The only thing I can do is warn others and learn to somehow, someway live with my biggest mistake. Cissy

nose job

Hi my name is Cissy and this is a follow up of the first complaint I wrote on this complaint board. I had a very bad plastic nose surgery performed by doctor Milla in February 2007. I am writing this because I have a moral obligation to warn others. Had I paid a little more money to have it done in the United States, I believe, I would still have my nice healthy nose. I am like many Americans that go to Mexico to have plastic surgery. I did not think of what could possibly go wrong. I felt it was more affordable and I trusted this doctor Milla too much. I thought it was just minor surgery since my nose looked good, it was a little crooked because it had been hit with an elbow in salsa dancing practice. Doctor Milla told me that he had gone to the United States to learn from one of the best doctors on rhinoplasty. According to what he left of what use to be my nose, he does not know what he is doing.

On July 8th, 2008 I went to a plastic surgeon doctor in Los Angeles, United States of America who specializes in rhinoplasty reconstruction. According to his findings Doctor Milla turned my nose up 90%. There is an 80% chance that this plastic surgeon can improve my nose, but he did say I will never have a normal nose that goes down. He cannot rebuild the sides or the top of my nose and the front. I can only pick one thing that he can rebuild. The surgeon handed me a mirror and told to me pick the worst, worst thing I did not like. I don't want to look like a pig or some animal with my nose turned up for the rest of my life. My nose turned up is probably the worst. It is a 4 (four) surgery. A different doctor will come in to remove cartilage from my ribs. The cost is $17, 000.00. My women friends use to dream of having a nose like I use to have and now I am the one dreaming, wishing, I had my nice looking, healthy, crooked nose. Right now I cannot do the surgery, I don't have the $17, 000. and I am still in a lot of pain even tho it's been a year and half since the surgery. The worst mistake of my life! and I have made many mistakes.

My girlfriend also had a tummy tuck with doctor Milla and she said, "that he did not do a good job."

Mexican Nationals and Americans we have the best doctors in the United States. Yes, they do cost more, but isn't an ounce of prevention better than a pound of cure? but even in the United States you still have to do your homework in picking a plastic surgeon doctor. Plastic surgery is a serious thing, it is better not to have it, unless it is necessary or life threatening. In Mexico you are playing Russian Roulette with your face, body, and life.

I had no one to warn me or to look out for me. Had I been warned about Doctor Milla I would still have my nose. I do not want others to be disfigured or injured. This mistake is like a nightmare that I will never wake up from. Don't let this happen to you.
