We contacted Click Consult for SEO services. Work commenced for £2040 per month (inc VAT @ 20%) for the work in to commence December 2010.

The work began on or around 6th December 2010 but no 'on-page' content (or any work on our website) didn't actually reflect until the 2nd week of January 2011.

Today 19/05/2011 (after targeting 100 keywords) we have 1 on page 1 'hotpoint aqualtis tumble dryer' and 1 on page 2 and the rest on pages 3-9 (position 30 - 100). Around 30 of the keywords are still not in the top 100 Google results (classed as not ranked by Click Consults reports) after 5 months of work at £2040 per month.

My contract states that the total hours spent working on my site will not exceed the monthly management fee, and that any extra work after this would be charged at £75 per hour. However, I was not able to gauge if I was incurring extra costs as I was not informed how many hours the monthly management fee would cover or when/if I was approaching this limit.

Click Consult failed to complete work within deadlines that were set by Click Consult and so my website lost the benefit of delayed/incomplete work. This included Press Releases and Global Product Meta Changes (which should have included the optimisation on all products on our website).
Click Consult were also not clear on what work was agreed in the initial proposal and I had to remind them that they agreed to complete the Global Product Meta Changes.

We are very disappointed with the lack of results on our site and would not recommend Click Consult.
