Basically, I had a car loan with Chase. I lost my job. I tried negotiating with them. They LAUGHED at me. I lost my phone service due to the fact I could not pay the bill. So they resorted to contacting my former office pretending to be an Employment Agency to try and gain my personal information. When that failed, they contacted my coworkers and told them that I had sold my home in Antioch, and ran off to India. Next, they started sending REPO people at 2:00 am in the morning creating heavy noise and flashlights all over the house to collect the car. They banged on my door so hard, they ruined the front of the door, they ruined my lock, and get this, they turned off my water main, causing my dishwasher that was on a timed run at night to burn out almost causing a fire, because of the lack of water. My Water Heater had to be replaced later too. Then they sent people during the day to wait around and they opened up my mailbox and checked my mail. That was a violation of postal and federal laws. I wrote them two letters, detailing these facts. My recent letter was only a few days ago. They still will not admit anything and say I still owe my balance. I disagree, they owe me compensation or my pink slip. They breached the contract when they broke the law.
