I paid for a tatasky connection on 7th July 2010 and I was assured emphatically that delivery and installation would be completed within 24 hours. Later that day, when I was called by the Vizag office, we fixed an appointment for 9AM on the following day. However, nobody turned up. From 8th July 2010 onwards, I have been making several calls asking them to do the needful at the appointment time since I go to office later. Tatasky agreed to do the same and never told that they would not be able to do it at 9AM. Despite assurances, they still failed to deliver on service as on 10th July 2010. This left me pretty much disgruntled with their service and what would follow in the future even if they finally delivered on service.

Hence, to let them know how painful it is from the customer end, I gave them 2 options viz., offer additional packages that ensure that the customer is satisfied that they will do better in the future and they are good as their reputation or cancel the order completing the refund. To the first option, the packages they offered were very cheap that do not even make-up for the number of telephone calls I had to make to them. In those few days, I either made or received around 75 calls. So, I naturally refused. Therefore, I went for the 2nd option asking them to cancel and refund. They agreed and they said they would refund within 10 days. To this, I told them that I can't accept their timeline since the fault was not mine.

They are still making me do the merry go-around. Just thought I would paste my experience here for users considering TataSky. Please be very clear when you are going in for their services since brand name and actual service are two different things.

My account reference # is 1049523002 and service request # is 1-7096467172. This is for any TataSky bigshot representative to understand how their customer service is dipping day by day. Moreover, they are refusing me to connect with their managers and higher level management team giving me plenty of excuses.

Last one week I have been trying to reach Tatasky customer care, connecting but only tells advertisements about sports channels, etc. Its not directing to relevant person.

I couldn't able to change my package either through net or contact customer care. I am planning to change.

My subscriber ID is 1015477597 and RMN is 9437172636. Signal is not received by the set top box from the atenna. Please do tyhe needful at earliest.

i have taken tata sky last year but i have face so much problem in tatasky.befor one month may be july 08 my digicom inside lots of water have.water has came from wiyer so my digicom have not worked that time i have paid 600/- Rs.and replaced my wiyer & digicom(digicom gave me old repaier piece not new) and month of june i have paid 300/- for remort also(remote working also sttoped).but dated 03/08/2008 my tatasky not worked again.i have called coustmor care in this time engenieer came and told me your digicard is not worked.if you want see tatasky pay 500/- rs for digicard.
sir kindly request you pls solve my all problem becouse every time i have face new problem and pay money every time, it is not possible for me to pay money every time.
04/08/2008 i have also recharged my account rs.1000/-but tatasky is not working and my a/c balance is reduce day basis.
pls tell me what can i do.its charges is so expensive i can't barre becouse every time creat new problem.
if you solve my problem then ok., otherwise take your tatasky and refund my amount.

I had ordered a Tatasky connection for my brother Rajesh Singh in December 2007 on phone. The number I used to call was 0206601112. Post that I cancelled the connection in first week of January knowing that he already has purchased one. The amount has not been refunded to me yet. I had paid Rs. 4000 by credit card. I have been calling Tatasky regularly since past 3 months, but it has been of no use. They have been telling me, that my request has been forwarded to appropriate department and someone will get back to me. Please help. You can reach me at [email protected].
