On april 24 I purchased two airline tickets from Travelocity to fly to Maine with my doughter to see my mother in which I have not seen in two and a half years. The last week of May I was told by my Docter that I should cancel my trip due to the fact that my mother in law was about to pass away and so I should cancel my flight. On May 26th I called Travelocity at 2:45 am to do so. At that time I spoke to the representative from your company to cancel my flight. We got part way through the conversation when a emergency came up and I needed to go and take care of the emergency. She said I need about five more minutes of your time, I could not I needed to go. At that time she told me as of now your flight is cancelled and write down this comfirmation number (2500524) but you will need to call back for the penalties and rebooking information. I agreed and thanked her for her help and I said I would call back at another time. When I called back they told me my flight had not been cancelled and my comfirmation number was no good and they could not find the recording. I would not call at 2:45 am to talk about the weather, I called for a purpose and do not have that kind of money to through away. I have not seen my mother in two and a half years and she is very sick in a nursing home. The representative told me the guy told me to call back, it was not a guy I spoke with it was a women. I was given a comfirmation number and now I'm told it is no good and they cannot find the recording of the coversation. I did not get the womens name and I dont know why she would give me a comfirmation number if I had not been cancelled wheather the number was good or not. I just want to get my money refunded or get two tickets for a flight to Maine. I will pursue a attorney if I need to do so. Thank you for your help Trip ID # 111149204987
