I have been a very old customer of airtel and everyone in my family has been using it since times immemorial but in the last four months i have had traumatic experiences with airtel.
I was working with Infosys Mysore and had taken and airtel broadband 499 plan(a very sought after plan).Then this year in Feb i had to go out of the country so i applied for cancellation of my broadband connection and flew abroad the cancellation which should have been taken care by airtel guys was not done and the airtel person gave my plan to some friend of his-Prakash Chand who is a criminal and he is using my internet and phone connection in my name and the bills are also being generated in my name.If the monthly bill generated is 1500-he pays 300 so that the connection is alive.But the bills keep getting generated in my name.
I am very concerned and have tried innumerable times to disconnect the internet connection and phone line which is in my name but the local airtel people of mysore are with Mr Prakash Chand so the falsely write in the message logs "Devesh is not picking his call when contacted" whereas they dont call at all for confirmation since they dont want to cut the line at all.
Its a criminal case-is this the way you treat your old customers.If my line is not disconnected then i would have no option but to go to the consumer court.I have already raised a request the second time.I am giving you the request detail.
