I phoned to top up my Kiwicall card. The lady (Leila situated in the Phillippines) took all my credit card details. I was not compfortable with some fo the questions she asked me. She then informed me there was a problem and I should wait for half an hour before trying to use the card...I had a death in the family half way accross the world! I purchased an online bit of software called PCTV which according to many online reviews was highly successful and ranked. I downloaded the software only to fnd that it did not work and never would because of incompatibility issues which were not outlined anywhere in the website offer. On removal it left some files which now interfers with startup and continues to create problems at Internet Explorer . Somehow lovecrush got my cell ph number and are sending messages that i neither read nor subscribed to. While online a child of 10 years old kept getting this blinking "mulovcrush" or something. To get on with what she was doing she clicked on it which gave her some pin or code. Thats when she said the messages kept coming. Unbeknown to her what it was. This is an offense in our country. If I could give half a star I would and I haven't even taken the flight yet. I booked a return flight to Auckland from Sydney for my wife and myself, a family reunion. Due to some mis-communication I had to change the dates of departure and return. I expected a change fee but was gobsmacked to be hit with a bill for $400. Tried to purchase a book on Forensics from these people in July 2007. Credit card charged and no product ever sent. No reply to frequent communications. Others who have suffered are urged to contact e-crimes unit of Australian Police or the IC3 group in the USA In Australia you can contact Dept of Fair Trading as they claim on website amongst other things that the customer won't be charged until the order is shipped and they can be prosecuted under Asutralian law if this claim is shown to be misleading. I order a cd through our local music dealer to Amazon.com on OCtober the 15th and now its November the 28th and no disc just emails from Amazon.com saying it will be due some day and of corse it never comes. Everything else ordered from there after my order was placed took two weeks to arrive so why hasnt a simple Cd they said was in stock come?.
